 all this is from "The World I live in. Tennessee Williams interviews himself" - an essay. 

 i could try to explain the thoughts his words trigger in me, but i think i leave it be - and to you, to find your own meaning in them... it's just that i love williams's way to show the world, although he shows it as dark and mad and violent and full of anger and desperation. or maybe, because?... no, i don't think so: i think i love "his ways", because he writes about real (!) people and because he says: "i don't believe in 'original sin'. i don't believe in 'guilt'. i don't believe in villains or heroes - only right and wrong ways that individuals have taken, not by choice but by necessity or by certain still-uncomprehended influences in themselves..." and: "i never met one i couldn't love if i completely knew him and understood him." (if that's possibe at all, i might add... but anyway: i like the idea...)
