sometimes - just sometimes - i get the impression, that there actually IS such a thing as fate. and i DON'T like the idea.
this may be due to the way the thought emerges:
sometimes, when people tell me theire storie, their problems, the troubles they are fighting right now, or have some time in their lievs, an impression forces itself upon me: it's the people with backbones of steel who carry the heaviest burdens. it's seems as if people who can bear it - have to.
it's as if fate - or god? (ask Depeche Mode...) - has a very, very ill sense of humour, of fairness - as if there has to be misery in this world and so that it won't kill to many, it's the strong people who have to suffer.
because they won't break.
would they?
believe me, they DO break. somehow. sometime.
and you might not even realize - at first.
and i don't believe this to be fair.
therefore, i complain.
therefore, i try to fight.
therefore, i can't look the other way.
therefore, i don't really like people who can.
therefore, i try to listen.
therefore, i try to be there, not matter the cost.
tehrefore, i try to share all the strength i have with people who seem to need even more of it, more than they already have to make people think they are unbreakable.
this is for one of the strongest girls i've ever met.
the Great Bear is for her today.

hopefully, this will make a little bit of a difference.
because, if there must be anything like fate - then i hope mine is to be of some help to people who don't seem to need it. but do. i could live with that. this kind of fate would make sense - to me.
